POPCORN PRODUCTION WAREHOUSE

If you like popcorn then you will love this job, it always smells like delicious freshly popped corn! Employees will follow a recipe card to measure various ingredients and fill a large industrial popping kettle to produce the finished product which is packaged into bags and sold storefront like chips. Through training employees will be familiarized with operating a total of 6 kettles at one time. You will also be responsible for packing the finished, sealed bags of popcorn into boxes at the end of the production line, and frequent sanitizing.

Working in food production requires that employees wear personal protective equipment including a production uniform/smock, safety glasses, bump cap, gloves, hair/beard nets, and steel toe shoes. No jewelry is allowed to be worn on the floor including any piercings or cosmetic additions such as fake nails or eyelashes.

This position provides full time employment of 35.50-48.00 hours per week (based on the 4 days on/3 days off, 3 days on/4 days off schedule rotating work week schedule. Employees that show positive performance and fit well with the established team may be offered permanent conversion, at which time you are offered full health benefits including vision and dental insurance, as well as a 401k program with employer match after 120 days from date of initial hire.
