ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN

We service a production facility in South Reno that manufactures industrial surge protectors (like a power strip you plug your TV into, but much larger, more technical, and industrial grade!). Employees perform bench assembly which requires the use of hand tools, computer programs, and standing for the duration of an 8-hour shift. Entry level positions are available and do not require any pervious or related experience; the training program is functional and effective in acclimating new employees. Previous experience will allow candidates an opportunity to start at a higher hourly rate along with further technical assignments. Job duties include assembly, packaging, and QA.

This facility operates a single daytime shift Monday-Friday from 6:00am-2:30pm- 40hrs/week with scattered overtime requirements. The starting wage is dependent on experience ranging from $16.50/hr (entry level) up to $20.50/hr (seasoned associates). All employees that adhere to attendance and performance standards are guaranteed permanent hire after 720 working hours at which time enrollment in full health benefits including vision and dental + 401K is offered.
